Plastic waste is a serious problem, causing over 100,000 marine animal deaths annually. An estimated 8 million tons of plastic enter the oceans each year, and the number is projected to increase to 58 million tons by 2030. China’s plastic waste ban might leave 100 million tons stranded. Without better waste management, 99 million tons of uncontrolled plastic waste could harm nature by 2030.
Used oil is another serious problem. One liter of oil can contaminate a million liters of water. Improper burning releases harmful pollutants, posing health risks. Legal regulations require responsible storage, collection, and recycling of used oil from various sources, such as industrial machinery and vehicles.
