Depo have together with its development partner NORCE secured funding from The Research Council of Norway for a new technology development project.
After a successful pre-project with NORCE, Depo have secured NOK 2,5m in funding from The Research Council of Norway for a main development project. The pre-project’s main goal was to identify a good method for optimizing Depo’s process. Through the main project Depo, the NORCE team and Depo’s value chain partners will optimize the technology and pave the way for job creation in Agder/Norway.
The main project will contribute to Depo’s strategy to build long-term collaboration with regional and national R&D institutes and players to further develop the technology, build a development department in Norway and to build lines of cooperation with partners for technology sale as well as establishment of new production plants in the EU/globally.
Our value chain partners will provide products and services.
The project will contribute to two of the Regional Plan Agder’s 2030 sub-goals: “work together to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals at the regional and local level” and to “reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 45 percent by 2030.” And to “Value creation and sustainability”. For Agder, the project will provide new jobs and solutions for waste management.
“The knowledge that is built up and expanded through the project will also benefit other companies in the region”, says Tor Henning Ramfjord (CEO of Depo Solutions AS).
