“Sørlandets Quantafuel” has raised 100 million

KRISTIANSAND: – We have great respect for Quantafuel and others who work in the same way as us. But we are not competitors, says Tor Henning Ramfjord, general manager of Depo Solutions. Depo Solutions owns the rights and IP to a method for producing fuel or diesel oil from plastic waste and waste oil.

– Differentiates us from other players

We will not build large factories. Our main concept is to sell modules and technology to the commercial market. That distinguishes us from almost all other players, such as Quantafuel, says Ramfjord.

– Fully funded

Depo Solutions is divided into two business areas: Technology and energy.

We have fully financed the purchase of the technology and production equipment, with a full-scale module for commercial production in Germany. The technology has been approved and tested, and we are now starting commercial operations at the facility, which will produce diesel and be a showroom for our module-based technology, says Dalen.

We don’t just help solveing the problem. We also ensure that the operator can make use of the waste in the form of diesel, heat, electrical energy, or other valuable resources, says Ramfjord.
